In spring 2017, the District of Columbia released new plans to
expand school health and behavioral health services to schools
across the city. The Department of Behavioral Health’s (DBH)
School Mental Health Program and the Department of Health’s
(DOH) School Health Services Program will both be implemented
throughout the 2017-2018 school year.
