The public review and comment period for the 2016 Olmstead Plan has closed. The District is currently reviewing the comments submitted during the comment period and making revisions as necessary. The revised 2016 Olmstead Plan will be published in January.

DC General Family Shelter Replacement Plan

The District is committed to closing the DC General Family Shelter at the earliest possible time. The Plan recommends a one-to-one replacement of the number of units currently provided at the DC General Family Shelter be available in other, more appropriate facilities before closure.
